Self Assessment in Manufacturing

A well established, medium sized enterprise needed a means of focussing efforts to move the business dramatically forward to achieve stretching 2003 targets. After discussions with the board and senior management we recommended Self Assessment using the EFQM / Business Excellence Model as the means.

A team of staff from board to shop floor was put together and Sterling Consulting Group trained them to carry out 'criterion team' based Self Assessments to identify strengths and areas for improvement for the business. Sterling Consulting Group facilitated criterion team meetings and helped the teams to identify what really mattered and agree actions to take to achieve results.

The directors have used us to help develop the action plans and Sterling Consulting Group are now supporting the project teams as they begin to achieve results.
