Purchasing a Radiology Department in the NHS

Sterling worked alongside the Head of Procurement and the relevant project manager to run the procurement processes for the acquisition of a new radiology department in a major NHS Trust.

The contracts handled Were in excess of £20 million and a detailed knowledge of the EC Procurement Directives was required. Sterling’s role was to ensure probity whilst managing the procurement process. Subsequent work for the Trust included our reviewing the medical staffing procedures for recruiting locums and managing the purchase of maternity ultrasound equipment
